You could try repairing WLM, to do so, contol panel>programs and freatures, select windows live essentials, choose repair option. That was the problem, since as soon as I added that port in the router software, it worked perfectly. An error at this point would point to a problem with WLM itself, otherwise you'd be able to at least create your message. Thanks for the follow-up.
